‘Below Deck Down Under’ Star Luke Jones Fired After Getting Into Crewmember’s Bed Naked Without Consent

Two Below Deck Down Under stars were fired after engaging in inappropriate behavior with other crew members. 

Luke Jones and Laura Bileskalne were both fired for sexual misconduct during season 2. Monday’s episode showed that Captain Jason Chambers fired Jones for climbing into stewardess Margot Sisson’s bed while naked without her consent while she was sleeping. 

Bileskalne was also fired for her inappropriate behavior regarding how she reacted to the incident that occurred with Sisson and Jones and a separate incident with Adam Kodra that same night. 

The night first started with the crew going out in Cairns, Australia, together. Many of them took multiple shots and Sisson commented that she felt “really drunk” while at dinner. As the night ended, everyone took taxis back to the boat. The deckhand Culver Bradbury was then told by the chief stew Aesha Scott that she wanted to “watch” Sisson. She remarked that she wanted “to chaperone her a bit.” 

While in the taxi, Jones told Sisson that “You should come and cuddle with me.” Sisson rejected Jones by saying, “No, let’s go.” She then told Scott, “I just want to go to bed,” as Scott helped her from the taxi to the boat. Both women went to Sisson’s cabin as Scott said, “I don’t want any drunkenness to be taken advantage of. So I’d just like to see you get into bed safely. I’ll get you water.” 

Then Jones visited Sisson in her cabin while just in his boxers saying, “Let’s have a f—ing jacuzzi,” and then got into the hot tub. 

Scott was worried for Sisson telling her, “I just saw the way that Luke was looking at you, and I’m feeling very protective.” Sisson agreed with her and explained that she did not want to be with Jones or get into the hot tub and, “All I want is water and bed, no Luke.”

Jones later got out of the hot tub and went back to his cabin to change out of his clothes and into a towel. Then a power outage occurred and Scott had to leave Sisson to go help out on deck. Jones took this opportunity to sneak into Sisson’s cabin and, when he arrived he took off, his towel and climbed into bed with her fully naked. 

Producers decided to intervene before anything else could happen and told him that it was time for him to go “because [Margot] wants to go to bed.” Jones ignored their requests telling them, “Thank you, very much,” multiple times. 

When the lights turned back on, Jones got out of her bed and asked the camera crew to “f— off for a second.” He proceeded to slam Sisson’s door but the producers forced it open as he attempted to close it. Producers continuously told him no, “We can’t do that, she said no, she said no.” Jones finally gave up and left her cabin. 

Scott then returned and told Jones, “Dude. What the f—?”

After Jones went back to his room, Bileskalne found him and asked, “What did you do? Honey, what happened?” He replied, “Nothing, I was just sitting there. I had nothing to do with her. F—ing hell, mate!”

When Scott told Sisson what happened with Jones she had no idea that Jones was naked in her bed. When Sisson was asked if she gave him consent she told Scott, “No, I was asleep. I did not invite that at all.” She added, “I didn’t even know.” 

Scott then immediately went to Captain Chambers and woke him up to explain the situation. Scott has shared publicly that she had experience with sexual assault before.

She told Chambers, “You don’t have the right to put someone unconscious into that position. I have had a drunken sexual assault experience before, and I never wanted that to happen to anyone else. And she’s just such a sweet angel that the thought of anyone violating or being in her space, it just makes me feel sick.” 

After, Captain Chambers told Jones that he had to leave the boat for the night and go to a hotel. The next morning Chambers fired Jones, although Jones claims to have almost no recollection of the night.
