Arrest Warrant Issued For ‘Catch A Predator’ Star Chris Hansen After Failing To Appear In Court
An arrest was issued for Chris Hansen after he failed to make an appearance in court.
The warrant was announced on Thursday and issued in Michigan. Authorities said that the former To Catch a Predator host ignored a subpoena related to a police sting operation in 2020. Hansen has been called to testify about the operation.
Hansen announced on Instagram on July 1 that the legal problems arose from “miscommunication about a hearing.”
“Defense lawyers for accused predator Michael Lott had requested video from the investigation… The matter is currently being resolved!” wrote Hasen on the post.

The sting in the investigation developed in the arrest of three men who allegedly intended to meet underage girls for sex.
Shiawassee County Prosecuting Attorney Scott Koerner said that a bench warrant was issued for Hansen.
In 2019, Hanson was arrested for bouncing checks.
