Arnold Schwarzenegger shut down a fan who opposed marriage equality on his Facebook page on Friday.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Comments On Gay Marriage Decision

In celebration of the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down bans against gay marriage, Schwarzenegger changed his Facebook profile picture by adding a rainbow over the photo of him as the Terminator.

While many fans of the former California Governor and action hero were happy with his demonstration of Pride, some fans were less than pleased. One such fan let their feelings known, commenting on the photo to announce that he would leave the actor’s fanbase on Facebook because of Schwarzenegger’s stance on gay marriage. “What’s wrong with U Arnie? I have to unlike…” the user wrote.

Schwarzenegger saw the post and responded personally with one of his famous Terminator catch phrases: “Hasta la vista.”

Schwarzenegger has been a vocal supporter of gay marriage and marriage equality over the years. When asked about the ruling during a press event for his newest film, Terminator: Genisys, he said the Court made “the right decision.”

“Everyone has equal rights. So this is the right way to go, and I think it’s a great celebration for America,” he added.

Facebook Celebrates Pride With Rainbow Filter
