In a rare public appearance, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his long-term partner, Heather Milligan, were spotted together at the opening of the 8th Austrian World Summit in Vienna, Austria.

The summit, themed “Be Useful: Tools for a Healthy Planet,” was held at the prestigious Hofburg Palace, and the couple’s presence underscored their continued commitment to each other and their shared interests.

Schwarzenegger, 76, and Milligan, 49, have been a couple for over a decade as they first linked in 2013, shortly after Schwarzenegger’s separation from his ex-wife, Maria Shriver. The former Governor of California described Milligan as someone he “thinks the world of” and who shares his drive and independence.

The couple’s appearance at the Austrian World Summit was marked by their coordinated and stylish attire. Milligan wore a pale denim, double-breasted suit with slacks and a white shirt, accessorized with a beige Dior purse, while Schwarzenegger opted for a sharp hunter-green blazer, a blue shirt and khaki slacks.

Along with the couple at the event were notable figures such as Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen, U.S. Senior Advisor for International Climate Policy John Podesta, and U.S. Ambassador to Austria Victoria Reggie Kennedy. The presence of these dignitaries underscores the significance of the summit and the importance of the environmental issues it addressed.

Schwarzenegger and Milligan’s relationship has withstood the test of time, despite the actor’s high-profile personal life. In the past, Schwarzenegger had faced public scrutiny over the revelation that he had fathered a child, Joseph, with the family’s housekeeper, Mildred Baena, while still married to Shriver. The actor has since acknowledged this as a “major failure” in his marriage, while also expressing his love for his son.

The couple’s collaboration extends beyond their personal life, as they have also worked together professionally. In recent months, Schwarzenegger and Milligan teamed up to share fitness tips and exercises focused on managing joint pain, leveraging her expertise as a physical therapist to help the actor’s millions of fans.

In March of 2024, Schwarzenegger said he had a pacemaker fitted after three previous open heart surgeries.
