Call Me By Your Name actor Armie Hammer shared on Instagram a picture of his mugshot from 2011.
On Tuesday, he shared a photo of a younger Hammer wearing a black-and-white jumpsuit in a mugshot with the caption “It might not be Thursday, but this throwback seems worth it… #godblesstexas”.
Back in 2011, when the actor was 25-years-old he was arrested for possession of marijuana in Sierra Blanca, Texas. According to a report, police arrested him for having some weed brownies and cookies on him. Ultimately, prosecutors dropped the case against Hammer because he only had a very little amount of actual marijuana. He still had to spend a day in jail and paid $1000 bond.
Given that it happened years ago, Hammer has been light-hearted about the photo and situation. He joked with a fan in the comment section saying, “prison jumpsuits are not known for their fashion…or comfort.” He also jokes saying, “let’s be honest it’s probably not the last mug shot.”
Hammer doesn’t take his Instagram account too seriously, earlier this month he shared his Oscar beauty routine with his followers.
Just this weekend, he jokingly shared that no one went to go see his newest movie Final Portrait at this year’s South By Southwest Film Festival.
Since 2011, Hammer has stayed out of trouble with the law and starred in several movies since then including The Man From U.N.C.L.E and The Social Network.
