Anderson Cooper's Alleged Stalker Arrested
Anderson Cooper’s alleged stalker, Alex Hausner, has been arrested and arraigned in New York after five years of reportedly harassing the famous news anchor and his boyfriend, Benjamin Maisani.
Hausner was reportedly caught on tape trying to kick down the door to Cooper’s apartment (which he shares with Maisani), yelling “I swear to f**king God, don’t insult me…I ’m going to f**k you up,” according to the New York Post.
At his arraignment, Hausner insisted that it was not Cooper he was after, but Maisani.
“It has nothing to do with Anderson… I can prove from my sources that his boyfriend has sent people after me,” Hausner claimed in court according to the Examiner.
Assistant DA Rachel said the opposite according to the New York Post, and accused Hausner of consistent harassment.
“He [Hausner] was told on numerous occasions not to call,” Ehrhardt said.
Hausner is being held on a $75,000 bail and is charged with first-degree menacing and misdemeanor harassment and stalking.
