He spent New Year’s Eve booked in Ventura County Jail, and the DA’s office of Ventura County confirmed that the actor was charged with one count of DUI and one count of hit-and-run. While Koechner could see jail time of up to six months per count, the DA’s Office noted it was his first offense, so he probably won’t see any jail time at sentencing.

Koechner will likely be hit with some probation time, along with a mandatory alcohol ed class, instead of the max sentences for his crimes. He has been laying low since the arrest and has not addressed the charges publicly. He was photographed days later putting gas in a car that had visible damage on its side, though it’s unclear if this was the same car.

The actor is due back in court in a few weeks to receive his sentence.
