Ferrera donned a short-sleeve black INGIE Paris dress with gold floral sequin detailing. The feminine number featured a satin bow at the neck and black lining at the sleeves. “2am wake up call to make #GoldenGlobe announcements!” the former Ugly Betty star captioned a behind-the-scenes Instagram snap. “I’m awake I swear. #iknowasecret #excitedforthenominees.”
During the live broadcast of the Golden Globes nominations announcement, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association made a pair of gaffes on Twitter, misidentifying Ferrera as Jane the Virgin actress Gina Rodriguez.

While Twitter was quick to slam the HFPA for the mistake, Golden Globe nominee Rodriguez wasn’t up in arms about the mixup. “I didn’t hear anything until recently someone sent me an article, but who cares?” Rodriguez told Entertainment Tonight. “America’s lovely. She’s so beautiful and such a fantastic actress. If there’s anybody I want to get mixed up with — it’s her for sure! To me, it’s like, whatever. We always make mix-ups in life, man.” Ferrera, who will be returning to the small screen next year in new comedy Superstore, has yet to comment on the unfortunate accident.
