Amber Rose, Founder Of The Slut Walk, Blasted By Fans For Endorsing Donald Trump

Model Amber Rose recently endorsed former President Donald Trump in his upcoming election.

On Tuesday, Rose took to Instagram to post a photo of herself with Donald and Melania Trump at a black-tie event, captioning it “Trump 2024 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸.”

Rose is a staunch advocate for women’s rights and organized a SlutWalk in 2015, which is a nonprofit event aimed at raising awareness about gender inequality, victim-blaming and rape culture. As a bisexual woman, Rose has also been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community.

This endorsement is to the surprise of many, as in the past, Rose has criticized Trump for his remarks about women. This contradiction between Rose’s words and actions has sparked frustration from fans and public figures.

Film director Nathan Williams commented on her post, “Unfollow with quickness. He is against everything I thought you stood for. Bye, girl.”

Another commenter said, “I thought you’re a feminist????? This guy is about to snatch your bodily autonomy away. I am so disappointed in you.”

However, some also voiced their support for Rose, with comments such as “Trump 2024🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 It’s so much happier on the RIGHT” and “Put America First! 🇺🇸 Trump 2024!”

Rose fired back at commenters in a now-deleted comment where she said she decided to support Trump after doing “research” on Biden and Trump’s policies and realizing that “Trump supports the most reasonable compromise on abortion.”

“Democrats are the radical ones on this position because they support abortion up to – and even beyond – the ninth month,” Trump said in a video that he posted on Truth Social. In fact, a tiny percentage of abortions occur after the second trimester, most of which are to protect the mother’s life.

Trump has stated that he believes that abortion rights should be left up to the states to decide. Many states have total abortion bans, meaning that the procedure is essentially illegal in a third of the country.

Trump has also recently made comments that hinted that he would support restrictions on birth control. Though he later denied these comments, Trump’s policies from when he was in office showed that his administration implemented regulations that allowed employers to exclude birth control coverage from health plans based on religious or moral beliefs.
