The iconic rock band Foo Fighters are set to embark on their Everything or Nothing At All stadium tour this summer. The group will hit 10 cities for a total of 12 shows as they showcase their latest album But Here We Are and honor the legacy of their late drummer, Taylor Hawkins.
The tour will commence with two back-to-back performances at New York’s Citi Field on July 17 and 19. The Pretenders and The Hives will serve as special guests, and alternate appearances throughout the tour. Additionally, Mammoth WVH, Alex G, Amyl and the Sniffers and L7 will join the Foo Fighters on various dates.
This extensive stadium run marks the band’s biggest touring effort since the release of their 11th studio album, But Here We Are, which was also their first release since Hawkins tragic death in March 2022. Hawkins, who had been an integral part of the Foo Fighters’ lineup since 1997, was found dead in his hotel room in Bogotá, Colombia, with a variety of substances in his system.
Following Hawkins’ untimely death, the Foo Fighters have continued to perform at festivals and arena shows throughout 2023. In May, the band officially welcomed Josh Freese as their new touring drummer, solidifying the lineup for this highly anticipated tour.
Formed in Seattle in 1994, the Foo Fighters initially started as a one-man project by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. The band now consists of Grohl (lead vocals, guitar), Nate Mendel (bass), Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear (guitars), Rami Jaffee (keyboards), and Freese (drums).
