Amber Portwood, star of MTV’s Teen Mom OG, has decided to quit the show after questionable editing that didn’t portray her in the best light.

Portwood’s departure follows her explosive fight with Farrah Abraham during the Teen Mom OG reunion. Portwood was extremely unhappy with how the network edited the fight and said she felt “disrespected” by everyone involved on the show.

Portwood shared about the fight:

“We used to be [friends] and then she decided to open up her crooked lips. She decided to do an interview saying something about how it’s good that [my daughter] Leah is with Gary [Shirley] and how my house probably smells like p**s. You don’t do that.”

While Abraham claims that MTV was doing everything in their power to prevent her dad Michael from suing Matt Baier, Portwood’s husband, Portwood took serious issue with how the fight was portrayed.

“They cut out Michael literally screaming in my face calling me a b**ch and him putting his hands on Matt’s neck!!” she stated. “After 8 years this is so disrespectful. I’ve worked too hard on myself to take this kind of disrespect.”

The MTV reality series’ original star took to Twitter late Thursday night to tell fans that she was leaving the show.

MTV has not made any comments rewarding Portwood leaving the show.
