Amber Heard Arrives 90 Minutes Late For Johnny Depp Divorce Hearing
Heard’s attorney, Samantha Spector, arrived at the law office of Depp’s legal representative, Laura Wasser at 10:15 a.m., according to reports. Heard did not arrive to the hearing until 11:30 a.m.
The actress was seen driving up to the front entrance of the office building, but wanting to avoid the media, she found a private entrance to drive through.
The Saturday morning deposition was set after both sides tried to agree to a deal to end the marriage on Friday night. However, negotiations allegedly fell apart by 9 p.m., and now a different member of Depp’s legal team, Blair Berk, will lead the questioning at the deposition.
Berk will address Heard’s claims that Depp physically abused her during their marriage, and question Heard about why the police officers who arrived at their Los Angeles home at the time of Depp’s supposed attack against her, two nights before she filed for divorce, concluded that there was no evidence of physical injury or damage inside the house.
Depp is not set to attend the deposition in person, but the hearing will also address Heard’s financial demands as part of the divorce.
