Amanda Bynes, prior to her latest DUI arrest, had reportedly been kicked out of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Irvine, Calif.

Amanda Bynes Kicked Out Of School

Bynes, 28, was kicked out of the fashion design school after displaying disruptive and troubling behavior over a period of time, reports TMZ. Apparently, the former What I Like About You star would show up to class high on marijuana. As a result, she allegedly donned sunglasses inside the classroom and would burst into spontaneous bouts of laughter.

Bynes’ in-class antics also reportedly included engaging in “horrendous arguments,” according to fellow student Rachel Loritz. Loritz also claims the former child actress would ask fellow students to do her homework for her for a fee.

Bynes was also supposedly caught cheating during an exam.

Bynes DUI Arrest

Earlier in the week, it was reported that Bynes had been arrested for a DUI in Los Angeles. California High Patrol pulled her over on Sunday, Sept. 28 and "determined she was under the influence of a controlled substance. She was released on $15,000 bail Sunday afternoon. It has subsequently been revealed that Bynes was on Adderall, for which she has a prescription.

Following the arrest, Bynes parents have claimed that they do not know their daughter's whereabouts. Since their conservatorship ended over the summer, Bynes has stopped living with them. The parents, who have no desire to retain another conservatorship over Bynes, believe that their daughter is merely spoiled and too interested in smoking pot. During the conservatorship, Bynes' mother infamously claimed that her daughter did not have the mental illnesses the doctor's had been treating her for and had taken her off of her medications.
