Amanda Bynes and Paul Michael, who have been dating since 2019 and got engaged very quickly in their relationship, are now going their separate ways after calling their engagement off weeks prior.

Amanda Bynes Conservatorship

This is the second time their engagement was ended, but the ex-couple reportedly reconciled soon after their first separation. At the start of their relationship, a wedding would have been “unlikely” because of a conservatorship Bynes was under since 2013 that has since ended.

This past April, the couple was involved in a verbal dispute that resulted in Bynes leaving her house where Michael has been staying and both parties called the police on each other. Bynes later told E! News, “I thought Paul relapsed, but I was wrong… Paul and I are staying together. I am so sorry for the confusion I caused.”

Bynes hasn’t acted since her 2010 role in Easy A. She was a well-known child actress who began on All That and its later spinoff The Amanda Show. She also had memorable roles in well-regarded comedy films like Big Fat Liar, Hairspray and the Shakespeare adaptation She’s The Man.
