Alexander Skarsgård Wears Dog Collar & Leash At Sundance Film Festival ‘Infinity Pool’ Premiere
Actor Alexander Skarsgård arrived on the red carpet ahead of the Sundance Film Festival premiere of his new project Infinity Pool wearing a black leather dog collar attached to a long black leash.
His outfit fits the tone of the film, which “contains graphic violence and gore, graphic sexual content and other subject matter that could be offensive to some viewers,” according to the festival’s official statement.
Infinity Pool is a science fiction horror film written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg, son of body horror master David Cronenberg. In addition to Skarsgård, the film also stars Mia Goth and Cleopatra Coleman.
According to its synopsis, Infinity Pool follows a couple on vacation who are guided by a mysterious woman outside the resort grounds to find themselves in a community characterized by violence and hedonism.
The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on January 27.
Skarsgård rose to fame as an actor when he portrayed vampire Eric Northman in the television series True Blood (2008-2014).
He also starred in the drama series Big Little Lies (2017-2019) where he earned a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Skarsgård is set to reprise his role as tech mogul Lukas Matsson in season four of the HBO drama Succession this coming spring.
