Alex Jones Finds Out In Court His Attorneys Sent All His Texts To Sandy Hook Parents’ Lawyer

In a bombshell reveal during Alex Jones’ defamation trial yesterday, the plaintiffs’ lawyer Mark Bankston revealed that Jones’ defense attorneys sent him an entire digital copy of the InfoWars host’s phone.

Jones was left flat-footed on the stand, unable to wriggle out of lies when Bankston had his texts.

Bankston first asked Jones if it was true that he was “ordered to turn over any text messages mentioning Sandy Hook.”

Jones responded yes and said there were no text messages to submit “that we could find.” Bankston then produced messages for the court between Jones and Paul Watson discussing Sandy Hook which were submitted to evidence.

After reading the material of the texts, Jones appeared confused as to why they had them and said, “I guess you guys got Paul’s [phone], my phone didn’t save them,” which is untrue because the messages from Jones in the text chain are blue, indicating it is his phone.

He also told Bankston, “So you did get my messages, and said you didn’t, nice trick!”

In what must have been a satisfying rebuttal to give in court, Bankston then asked the TV host, “Mr. Jones, did you know that 12 days ago, your attorney’s messed up and sent me an entire digital copy of your entire cellphone with every text message you’ve sent for the past two years?”

Bankston added the shocking note Jones’ lawyer. “Did not take any steps to identify it as privileged or protect it in any way,” even though he was informed of the slip-up. “That is how I know you lied to me when you said you didn’t have text messages about Sandy Hook.”

Jones tried to belittle Bankston by snapping, “This is your Perry Mason moment,” and said that he wasn’t aware that his phone was sent away by his lawyers.

Bankston then repeated that Jones said he personally searched for the phrase “Sandy Hook” and didn’t find any texts on his phone under oath, saying after, “You know what perjury is, right? I just want to make sure you know before we go any further.”

The absolutely wild exchange was captured in its entirety on camera, as the trial has been filed in its entirety. Here is the clip when Jones first finds out how the opposite side got his texts.

This trial is to determine damages for a defamation suit filed against Jones by Scarlett Lewis and Neil Heslin who are parents of a Sandy Hook shooting victim. Jones received a default guilty judgment in this trial and the plaintiffs are seeking $150 million as well as additional punitive damages.

The judge had previously ripped Jones for lying in court.
