Alec Baldwin Quits Twitter Following Backlash Regarding Wife Hilaria Baldwin’s Hispanic Heritage

Alec Baldwin has announced that he is giving up on Twitter after weeks of controversy following allegations that his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, has lied about her Hispanic heritage.

In the tweet announcing his departure, Biden stated, “Twitter is like a party where everyone is screaming. Not much of a party. Goodbye for now.”

While this is not the first time Baldwin has left Twitter, this comes after rumors circulated that Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, was faking her Hispanic heritage, with videos showing an inconsistent accent and a blurry upbringing.

“Yes, I am a white girl. Culturally, I grew up with the two cultures,” she told The New York Times. “So it’s really as simple as that … I spent a lot of my childhood in Spain. My nuclear family lives in Spain and has lived there for a long time. And I came here, I was moving around a lot, but I came here when I was 19 years old to go to college.”

Baldwin defended his wife in the past, deeming the allegations as “just ridiculous.”
