New allegations have come to light regarding the killing of 13-year-old Tristyn Bailey.

Bailey was stabbed 114 on Mother’s Day and was found dead in the woods near her home in St. Johns, Florida. The St. John’s Sheriff’s Office arrested Aiden Fucci, 14, who grew up in the same neighborhood as Bailey and attended the same private school.

According to court documents, Fucci was told that Bailey’s body had been found and Fucci allegedly replied, “How is that my problem?”

Fucci’s arrest went viral. He took a selfie in the backseat of a car, making a peace sign with his hand and posted it on Snapchat. He captioned it, “Hey guys has anybody seen Tristyn lately?”

Bailey’s mother reported her daughter missing, and a day later, Fucci was arrested.

Fucci had initially been charged with second-degree murder. In May, however, State Attorney R.J. Larizza announced he changed the charge to first-degree murder and said Fucci would be trialed as an adult.

Larizza said, “It brings me no pleasure to be charging a 14-year-old as an adult with first-degree murder, but I can tell you also the executive team and I reviewed all the facts, all the circumstances, the applicable law and it was not a difficult decision to make, that he should be charged as an adult.”

The teenager pleaded not guilty and is being held without bond until the day of the trial arrives.

On July 14, Larizza’s office released 12 reports from investigators, as well as the county medical examiner to the suspect’s defense lawyer. The information was public and revealed more details about what allegedly occurred the night Bailey was murdered.

The documents revealed that during questioning, Fucci revealed he kissed Bailey, who evidently rejected him.

The document said he allegedly claimed she grabbed him and he pushed her, hitting her head when she fell. Additionally, he allegedly told investigators that he got irritated and told her to “f— off,” leaving her there.

The documents said that detectives found bloody clothes and sneakers in the suspect’s bathroom. Additionally, they found a notebook that belonged to him with “drawings of violent nature.” Some of those drawings had a “Satanic element to them.” They allegedly found another drawing on Fucci’s desk of a naked girl with blood spouting from her arms, which had been cut off. The girl in the drawing had X’s slashed in red over her private parts.

The documents claimed that Fucci had mentioned murdering someone before Bailey was killed.

The documents said that two of Fucci’s friends told investigators that Fucci had mentioned “on multiple occasions that he wanted to kill someone by stabbing them or slitting their throats.”

One of Fucci’s friends told the detectives that Fucci said that “if he were to kill someone, it was going to be planned, he would find a random person walking at night, drag them into the woods, and stab them.”

According to the documents, one of the friends said that “Aiden knew something was wrong with him and wanted to reach out for help.”

The medical examiner’s report explained that Bailey was stabbed 114 times, including 35 times in the head and neck.

Evidence showed that she attempted to fight back; there was no evidence of a sexual assault.

The report said that Bailey’s left ankle had the word “KARMA” handwritten in blue ink, as well as a “smiley face” on her right ankle.
