It was Smith’s first public performance since his infamous slap at Chris Rock during the 2022 Oscars. The actor was banned from the ceremony and went into hiding.
Smith sported a suit and tie with shades, giving Men in Black vibes as he did in the 2012 film, and Balvin was in a sparkly silver sweatshirt.
Last year, the rapper and actor appeared at estranged wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s book tour in Baltimore for her new memoir, Worthy.
Pinkett Smith revealed that she and Smith had been separated for seven years. Will said their decades-long relationship was “very long and tumultuous.”
The couple has remained legally together and aims to support each other in good times and bad. They share two children, Jaden and Willow.
