After Melania Trump was absent from her husband Donald Trump‘s Super Tuesday victory party, speculation about the state of their marriage on social media went into overdrive.

The former First Lady has not attended any of her husband’s campaign events despite his frequent promises that she would.

Donald Trump entered the ballroom at Mar-a-Lago, his home in Palm Beach, Florida, shortly after 10:00 p.m. to give his Super Tuesday victory speech and left a little over 30 minutes later.

The former president’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., and his fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, came, as did his other son, Eric Trump, his wife, Lara Trump, and his daughter, Tiffany Trump.

“This was an amazing – an amazing night, an amazing day,” Donald Trump stated in his speech. “It’s been an incredible period of time in our country’s history. It’s been sad, in so many ways. But I think it’s going to be inspiring because we’re going to do something that, frankly, nobody’s been able to do for a long time.”

“We’ve watched our country take a great beating over the last three years, and nobody thought a thing like this would be possible,” the 45th president went on to say.

Later on in his speech, he pointed out “tremendously talented people in” the ballroom, such as the “tremendously talented political people” who helped him right from the start.

“We have a great Republican Party with tremendous talent, and we want to have unity, and we’re going to have unity,” he claimed. “And it’s going to happen very quickly. And I have been saying lately, success will bring unity to our country. And it happened before. We had the best economy our country’s ever had, and people were calling me that I would’ve said will never happen. It’ll never happen.”

Additionally, Donald Trump conveyed gratitude to his family.

“I want to thank my family for being here,” he stated. “It’s a great family. I have a great family. They’ve had it very easy since I decided to run for politics.”

But it was Melania’s absence from her husband’s Super Tuesday speech, that had MAGA fans buzzing.

“Melania wants nothing to do with the White House, or Donald apparently,” the X user and MAGA fan, Brian Stevens, stated in a post. “She showed up at one dinner in the past several months.”

This post contained the hashtag #wheresmelania.

“Well…you are failing as a strong Historic woman now,” another MAGA fan named Anita DeFazio wrote on X on March 5. “WHERE THE HECK WERE YOU? THE VICTORY SPEECH ON SUPER TUESDAY IS AT MAR A LAGO, SO I GUESS YOU ARE SITTING UPSTAIRS WATCHING TV? We loved you, but you refuse to support your husband and show no interest as First Lady!”

Melania’s former best friend and aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, had a different take.

“WARNING Melania Trump was NOT at Donald’s victory party because she did NOT have to be,” Wolkoff claimed in an X. “His supporters do NOT care if she is by his side or NOT, so now she does NOT have to be. NOThing more, NOThing less.”

Users in the comment section voiced their own opinions as to why Melania failed to come to her husband’s victory party.

“She’s meeting with her lawyers to renegotiate her prenup just in case he wins in November,” the user Donna, or @dooner99, stated.

“Once she got married to the bum, she realized she didn’t have to do sh–, the user, TB12GOAT, claimed in a comment.

In 2023, Melania did not appeared at any of Donald Trump’s campaign events or alongside him in court.

After the former president managed to delay his federal election subversion case, the Trump campaign was expecting to use his wife to make top-tier engagements this year.

However, Melania has not made a return to the campaign trail even though Donald promised that she would be back soon.

Some observers have speculated that Melania is leveraging her appearances for a better deal in the renegotiation her prenup agreement.
