Pop singer Adele demolished and reconstructed her $58 million Beverly Hills mega-mansion, which she bought from Rocky star Sylvester Stallone in 2022. However, the singer kept one iconic feature – Stallone’s swimming pool statue of his famous boxing character Rocky.

The 18,587-square-foot home has undergone an extensive remodel two years after the Grammy-winning singer bought it with her husband, sports agent Rich Paul. Adele, who has not yet moved into the estate, is paying millions for significant renovations.

One prominent remnant of Stallone’s ownership is the outdoor swimming pool area featuring his iconic, life-sized sculpted statue of Rocky Balboa, the character from his popular film franchise. Last year, Stallone told the Wall Street Journal he had planned to take the statue, but Adele “really wanted” to keep it.

When Adele acquired the home, it already had an enormous footprint with eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. However, the singer has expanded it further by adding a massive five-car garage and a new fire-resistant roof to comply with California building codes for wildfire-prone areas.

Adele reportedly envisions it as a “forever home” for her family, including her 10-year-old son, Angelo, and Paul.

Adele bought the Mediterranean-style compound from Stallone in January 2022 for $58 million – nearly half of Stallone’s original $110 million asking price after several reductions. With a $37.7 million mortgage, it’s one of the highest-priced home purchases in Beverly Hills history.

The property was billed as a “world-class celebrity contemporary Mediterranean compound” filled with Rocky and Rambo memorabilia and artwork celebrating Stallone’s famous film roles when it was on the market.

While renovating the enormous estate, Adele has maintained a foothold in the Beverly Hills area. Before buying Stallone’s former residence, she already owned three other homes nearby.

Adele was recently forced to take a hiatus from her Las Vegas residency due to a vocal cord injury. She secretly married Paul last year in a private ceremony.
