Adele has reportedly taken out a mortgage of nearly $40 million to purchase a Los Angeles house that last belonged to Sylvester Stallone. While that’s clearly no small number, the total asking price of $58 million was only a little over half the price Stallone first set.

Stallone bought the property in the late-90s and built an eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom mansion there. It features a full library, gym, screening room, and a massive “trove” of Rocky memorabilia. He first listed the property for $110 million in January of last year, so Adele got a pretty massive deal on this home.

The singer’s loan was approved in January, and she has been living in it for much of the time since. Her boyfriend Rich Paul moved into the house as well according to an Instagram she posted last May.

Adele has one child, a son with her ex-husband Simon Konecki. With that number of bedrooms in her new mansion, it seems like the singer either wants to e able to host a ton of friends all the time or is thinking about expanding her family.
