After 40-Pound Weight Loss, Sharon Osbourne Says She Attempted Suicide After Learning About Husband Ozzy’s Affair
Sharon Osbourne revealed in her one-woman show in London personal details about her relationship with her husband, Ozzy Osbourne. In the show, Sharon talks about how a previous affair with the metal icon had almost driven her to suicide.
“He always, always had groupies, and I was so used to that. But when he knows the name of the person, where they live and where they work … it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested. I took, I don’t know how many pills,” Sharon said.
Sharon found that with their children now grown at the time, she thought that they were able to “take care of themselves.”
“So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom,” she said. “The maid tried to come in to clean the room and saw me.”
Ozzy and Sharon have been married since 1982, despite reports that they were splitting after 33 years of marriage in 2016. The couple reconciled that same year after Ozzy entered rehab for sex addiction.
Ozzy has gone on record saying that cheating on his wife is his biggest regret.
“I’ve done some pretty outrageous things in my life. I regret cheating on my wife. I don’t do it anymore,” he said. “I got my reality check, and I’m lucky she didn’t leave me. I’m not proud of that. I was pissed off with myself. But I broke her heart.”
Sharon recently opened up about her 40-pound weight loss on the diet drug Ozempic and her addiction to plastic surgery, which made her “look like a cyclops.”
