Adam Levine Joins "Tell A Friend – Get Covered" Obamacare Campaign

Adam Levine is urging fans to “Get Covered” by Obamacare by participating in an awareness campaign “Tell a Friend – Get Covered” alongside fellow celebrities Fran Drescher and Kal Penn, among others.

'Tell A Friend – Get Covered'

This new campaign kicked off Friday, Dec. 13 and is a follow up to the semi-successful #GetCovered campaign that circulated the web when Obamacare went live in October.

The campaign urges Americans to register for a health care plan before Dec. 23, the deadline to register for a 2014 plan effective Jan. 1. The campaign will feature an 8-hour live-streamed, star studded event Jan 16 and culminate in March. The event will provide personal accounts regarding healthcare and information on how to effectively use Obamacare and “other details related to national health care options."

“The idea is a drumbeat of dialogue, a drumbeat of discussion about coverage – not about glitches, not about the politics, not about the pundits,” executive director of Covered California, Peter Lee, said of the campaign.

Tell A Friend – Get Covered” will also release regular video adds, tweets and articles to promote their cause.
