Aaron Carter Arrested For DUI & Drug Possession
Singer Aaron Carter was arrested last night in Georgia for DUI and drug possession.
The Habersham County sheriff’s office confirmed the news last night. Carter charged with DUI, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and possession of drug-related objects. He is currently in police custody.
Carter, the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, was detained about 9 p.m. He was reportedly in the vehicle with his photographer girlfriend Madison Parker. She was also arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction of law enforcement.
According to a tweet posted at 5:08 p.m. to Carter’s account, he was slated to perform in Kansas City Saturday night.
The pop star’s management team wrote on his Twitter account that he would not be able to make his scheduled performance “due to transportation issues.”

“He promises to come back soon. He apologizes to his fans in KC and Mix93.3,” the singer’s team added. There is no further information from Carter’s management or the sheriff’s office.
