Donald Trump and Melania Trump‘s son, Barron Trump, celebrated his 18th birthday on March 20 away from the usual spotlight that accompanies the prominent family.

Born in 2006, Barron spent his formative years in the opulent penthouse of the Trumps in New York City. Initially, he remained in Manhattan with his mother while his father embarked on his presidential term in January 2017.

In his first presidential campaign, Trump explained that Barron was hesitant to uproot his life at such a young age and leave behind his friends and school in New York. However, Trump reassured his son that the family’s move to the White House would allow him to make a positive impact on the lives of others, such as children like himself.

After Barron completed the school year, he enrolled at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Maryland and officially joined the rest of the family in their new residence at the White House. After the conclusion of his father’s presidential term in 2021, Barron made the transition to Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida, where he is set to graduate with the class of 2024.

Throughout his time in and out of the White House, Barron has deliberately maintained a low-profile existence. He shares a close bond with Melania, 52, as well as his grandfather, Victor Knavs, who resides at Mar-a-Lago near his daughter and grandson.

Barron also had a special relationship with his late grandmother, Amalija Knavs, who passed away at the age of 78 in January. He was recently photographed at her funeral, accompanied by two of his adult half-siblings, Tiffany Trump and Ivanka Trump, who attended with her husband, Jared Kushner.

Melania has been Barron’s primary caregiver throughout the years. Amid Donald Trump’s mounting legal problems, the two have grown even closer.

At 6’7”, Barron towers above the rest of his family.

Barron and Melania have been actively engaged in the search for Barron’s college.
