A sex tape between Sarasota School Board member and co-founder of Moms for Liberty, Bridget Ziegler, and another woman has been recovered by the police.

According to the Florida Trident, the video is now being used as part of an ongoing investigation against Bridget’s husband, GOP politician Christian Ziegler, who has been charged with rape.

Following the allegations, he was suspended as the chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. Although he still holds the title, he no longer has authority and no longer gets paid his $120,000 salary.

In November, a search warrant was issued for Christian’s cell phone and Google account, which is how police were able to uncover the video and connect it to the alleged rape.

The woman in the video remains unidentified, and it is unclear whether she is the same woman that charged Christian for rape.

Detective Angela Cox from the Sarasota police has filed an affidavit.

The document stated that Christian told the police he recorded the incident connected to the rape accusation, and the police found another recorded video during their investigation.

This video was discovered before the video between Bridget and the woman.

Bridget admitted to the investigators that she and her husband had a sexual encounter with the same woman more than a year ago.

There were also uncovered text messages between the couple and the woman. On October 2, the woman canceled plans after Bridget said she could no longer attend.

“Sorry, I was mostly in for her,” the woman wrote. The woman then alleged that Christian broke into her home and raped her.

Christian denies this and claims the encounter was consensual.

The police have added the new video between Bridget and the unknown woman to the affidavit.

The Sarasota County School Board recently voted 4-1 for Bridget’s removal, but she has refused to resign.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has not removed her from the board.

The Sarasota Police Department has stated that the newer video will not be released because it is part of an ongoing criminal investigation.

The couple has not commented on the video as of yet, but they are being heavily criticized for their “hypocrisy” since they have been outspokenly against LGBTQ rights in the past.

“You have emotionally and psychologically damaged countless students, parents and teachers with your hateful rhetoric,” resident Steve Russell told Bridget, asking for resignation.
