‘1,000-Lb. Sisters’ Star Tammy Slaton Reveals 450-Pound Weight Loss After Surgery
Tammy Slaton, star of the reality show 1000-lb Sisters, has shared new photos showing her 450-pound weight loss. On Instagram, the 37-year-old shared photos with her friend Haley Michelle, a psychic medium.
The photos show Slaton and Michelle at the poolside and by a lake on a sunny day. At the lake, they wore matching black dresses with flowers in their hair. Slaton’s off-shoulder dress revealed a flower tattoo on her dress.
Michelle captioned the pool post, “Proud of you #tammyslatonweightloss.”
At her heaviest during the show, which aired in 2020, Slaton weighed 725. The reality show covered her and her sister, Amy Slaton-Halterman‘s journey with obesity.
Slaton underwent a weight loss journey after she was put in a medically induced coma. She had to lose 200 pounds on her own before she could qualify for bariatric surgery to help with the weight loss.
During the show’s airing, Slaton’s husband, Caleb Willingham, passed away at 40. Months after his death, Slaton shared news about her sexuality on TikTok, saying, “I was pansexual, but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed. So, I’m like a lesbian.”
