One Of Lauren Sánchez’s 27 Wedding Gowns Has Vanished, Guest Is Suspected Of Stealing
Lauren Sánchez reportedly brought a whopping 27 designer dresses to her three-day wedding in Italy, but one of them has gone missing.
The Italian press suggested that the missing gown was stolen by one of the attendees at the wedding, but this has not been confirmed. They said that the suspect was an “elegantly dressed party crasher.”
No police reports have been filed regarding the dress.
Bezos and Sánchez sealed the deal on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy, despite intense controversy over the couple holding their wedding in the city. The wedding marked the end of a three-day celebration that cost the couple $50 million.
The former journalist spoke about her excitement over her wedding to the billionaire. She said that she felt like a “princess” during her gown fitting in Milan. She also shared how difficult it was to keep her dress a secret from Bezos.
“I almost gave in,” she said. “But I want it to be a surprise. As you get a little older, not many things surprise you. I can’t wait to see his face.”
She thanked Dolce & Gabbana for her custom-made gown in an Instagram carousel posted on the day of her wedding. The photos featured her styling team fitting her into the lacy, long-sleeved gown.
Sánchez also posted a photo of her and Bezos walking arm in arm down the aisle just after they were pronounced husband and wife.
She captioned the post with the date of their marriage, writing “06/27/2025 ♥️.”
