Brian Glenn, the chief White House correspondent for Real America’s Voice, revealed that he has received “thousands of death threats” ever since he ridiculed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s attire.

On Feb. 28, Glenn commented on Zelenskyy’s attire during a meeting with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office. “Why don’t you wear a suit?” he asked the Ukrainian president. You’re at the highest level in this country’s office, and you refuse to wear a suit. Do you own a suit?”

“You have problems,” Zelenskyy asked Glenn.

“Yeah, a lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting the dignity of office,” the chief White House correspondent declared.

On Monday, Glenn reiterated this question during an appearance on Real America’s Voice.

“Why does this man continue to go see heads of nations get hundreds of billions of dollars, be in the highest offices around the world, and absolutely wear that silly little green jumpsuit, which you’re not currently in the war in that country,” he asked on the cable channel. “Why can’t you show some respect and dress up and be in the highest level?”

“By the way, I will say this: sometimes, you can judge a book by its cover and by him not showing respect,” he added. “And obviously, the wardrobe reflected his attitude, which we later found out about six and a half minutes after that question. That’s when things got heated. So it was a reflection of his genuine disrespect he has for this country.”

The correspondent stated that “the feedback that [he has] personally gotten from – [he] would consider, America First people, the base – has been huge,” he added. “But I’ve received thousands of death threats. I currently have a police unit at my house in Texas because they’re saying that they’re going to find me and harm me and things like that. So it has been a very serious issue.”

In May 2023, Glenn was called a hypocrite on social media for saying that he liked the time when he wore a blonde wig, a pink cardigan, gloves and a white purse while anchoring for WFAA TV in Dallas. He has previously said that it should be illegal for children to attend drag shows.
