Canadian Prime Minister Heckled While On Ski Vacation: ‘Please Get The F— Out Of B.C.!’

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was heckled while on holiday at a ski resort in British Columbia.

Leader of the liberal party since 2013, Trudeau took power in November 2015 and proceeded along a career path marred by a wide range of controversies.

A clip on X showed a woman approaching Trudeau in the parking lot of Red Mountain Resort in Rossland, B.C., calling “Mr. Prime Minister!”

The video shows Trudeau turning around with a smile and the intention to shake hands before the woman tells him, “Please get the f— out of B.C.”

However surprised, Trudeau simply responded, “Have a beautiful day ma’am,” and proceeded to walk away, prompting the woman to call after him, “Yeah, you suck.”

Another video mocking the prime minister showed Trudeau dining at a restaurant. An individual shows the camera an infamous photo of Trudeau in blackface before panning to Trudeau eating.

Unseen by Trudeau in person, a local music duo performed anti-Trudeau folk songs at the resort on Saturday night, with lyrics like, “Hey, Hey Trudeau, you know it’s time to go, get out of our government and take your walk in the snow.”

Trudeau was famously a ski instructor at Whistler, B.C. in the mid-1990s. Despite his known history with the sport, he and his team seemingly (unsuccessfully) attempted to keep his vacation at RED Mountain low-profile.

Emily Duggan, the woman who called Trudeau out in the parking lot, told Peyman Askari in a podcast interview that RED Mountain had to make a variety of accommodations for Trudeau and his team, resulting in roads and facilities being closed off to the public.

Notably, Duggan, a political activist, was not at the resort to ski but rather heard that Trudeau would be at RED Mountain and journeyed to the resort specifically to confront him as an organized act of protest.

A survey in 2023 found that roughly two in three Canadians had a negative impression of Trudeau and wanted him to resign.
