Ryan Reynolds had some witty words for Martha Stewart after she claimed he “isn’t funny.”

Reynolds took to X to share his thoughts about Stewart’s comments regarding his supposed lack of humor.

The Marvel star, 48, wrote, “I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so.”

During a recent appearance on the Rent Free game show, Stewart, 83, revealed that her next-door neighbor is Reynolds. Despite his reputation as an on-screen comedian, she doesn’t think he is very funny in real life.

“You want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life,” she said. “No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious.”

While Stewart didn’t have much to say about the actor’s humor, she admitted that “he’s a good actor. He can act funny, but he isn’t funny.”

Stewart went on to joke that she would get “in trouble” for her remarks because the two live in close proximity.

Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine co-star, Hugh Jackman, poked fun at his friend as he commented, “Finally someone says it,” under his post.

Reynolds, in fact, prides himself on his image as a comedian. He recently shared faked photos with Mickey Mouse and Urkel after the leak of Deadpool photos online.
