‘Teen Mom’ Star Nathan Griffith Arrested On Battery Charges For Allegedly Strangling Family Member
Teen Mom 2 alum Nathan Griffith, 35, was arrested for suspected battery by strangulation in Las Vegas. He was taken into custody on July 12.
Police officers were sent to a home where the former reality star was staying and arrested him for allegedly committing battery against a family member.
Griffith is being held on $5,000 bail.
In February, Griffith was also charged with domestic battery by strangulation after attacking his girlfriend. His brother-in-law placed a 911 call after Griffith allegedly told him by phone that he had “lost it,” choked her and dragged her up the stairs. But the charges were later dropped in March due to the victim not cooperating with authorities.
He was also previously arrested for driving under the influence in October 2019.
Griffith was the former fiancé of Jenelle Evans and shares son Kaiser, 9, with her. On Teen Mom 2, Evans and Griffith were in a troubled relationship that started in 2013. The pair were engaged for a brief time before splitting in 2015.
