The three along with a few others in their hiking group, including Laich’s mother, Jane Laich, announced that they reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro at 19,340 feet over the course of an eight-day-long adventure.

Laich shared a post of the climbing crew as they hit the peak of the mountain and celebrate their achievement. He also shared a thoughtful appreciation for all their hard work together. “This week has been nothing short of amazing, getting to spend quality time with family members, undertaking a challenge together, and achieving a goal as a group, and individuals,” he wrote. “So many specials memories, including the view from the top — something I will always remember for the rest of my life!”
