Ninety-three-year-old former president George H.W. Bush was hospitalized at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, Maine, on Sunday. According to his spokesman, Jim McGrath, Bush had been experiencing low pressure and fatigue, but he was “not in any discomfort.”

The 41st president spends his summers in Kennebunkport, and he was there over the weekend in the hopes of attending the town’s annual Memorial Day parade, but this ended up being the first time in decades that he ended up missing the event.

When Bush arrived in Kennebunkport last week, he was greeted by hundreds of people lining the streets and waving American flags. He tweeted out his regrets about missing the parade, along with a message for those who are honored on Memorial Day.

This is not the first time that Bush has been hospitalized in the past few months. On April 22, the day after the funeral for his wife, former First Lady Barbara Bush, he was admitted for an infection that led to sepsis.
