Following sexual misconduct allegations made against him, Republic Records Group president Charlie Walk has hired famed Hollywood attorney Patty Glaser of the firm Glaser Weil Fink Howard Avchen & Shapiro LLP.

“My client’s expectation is for full vindication,” Glaser said to Billboard.

Glaser heads her law firm’s Litigation Department, and she’s represented Harvey Weinstein in his negotiation with The Weinstein Company after The New York Times reported his sexual misconduct and Conan O’Brien in an employment dispute against NBC.

Walk was placed on leave from Republic Records after three women accused him of sexual misconduct, Billboard reported.

Tristan Coopersmith, the founder of Life Lab, wrote an open letter on Monday accusing Walk of making lewd comments about her body and revealing his sexual fantasies to her when she was 27 and had just been employed by him. She wrote that no previous experience taught her what to do in such a situation, and that she laughed it off, reminding Walk that he was married and had children. According to her, he still continued the harassment.

“You would instant message me throughout the day making sexual remarks,” Coopersmith wrote. “Truly vulgar words and ideas. Pervasively. You invited me to dinners that in hindsight I had no business being at, but you did it so that you could put your hand on my thigh under the table, every time inching it closer and closer to my sacred place.”

She also said that Walk tried to force himself on her, but his drunkenness and her height allowed her to escape from him. She later reported Walk’s misconduct to his counterpart, who said that he wasn’t surprised but there was nothing she could do about it but leave gracefully if she wanted.

I was paid to keep my mouth shut and my reputation intact,” Coopersmith continued. “I’m ashamed of that piece but it’s a truthful part of my story. I took that dirty money and moved to LA.”

According to Deadline, another woman accused Walk of sexually harassing her. Walk made a statement to Variety denying Coopersmith’s allegations.

“It is very upsetting to learn of this untrue allegation made by someone who worked with me 15 years ago, without incident,” Walk said. “There has never been a single HR claim against me at any time during my 25+ year career, spanning three major companies. I have consistently been a supporter of the women’s movement and this is the first time I have ever heard of this or any other allegation — and it is false.”

After the accusations, Walk decided to forego appearing on Fox’s season finale of The Four: Battle for Stardom.
