Jack and Sailor Brinkley-Cook, Christie Brinkley‘s two kids from her marriage to Peter Cook, are the latest celebrity siblings to take the modeling world by storm.

Brinkley’s children – Jack, 20, and Sailor, 17 – star in a photoshoot for Town & Country‘s November issue. In the black and white photos the brother and sister duo pose in fall’s latest trends, showing off the good looks inherited from their supermodel mother.
“It can be hard to be up-and-coming and constantly compared to an icon,” admits Sailor, who, in addition to modeling, is focused on her education. “Right now I’m focusing on working hard in school and getting into college.”
Sailor’s older brother Jack, who recently finished studying at N.Y.C.’s Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, is looking to break into acting. Throughout the difficult process of landing jobs, Jack finds support from his older sister Alex Ray Joel, Brinkley’s daughter with ex-husband Billy Joel.
“The most terrifying thing is the desire to establish a career as an actor. It’s an extremely competitive and challenging industry to conquer,” Jack told Town & Country. “If I ever have anything I need to talk about or get over, Alexa is my go-to.”
When Sailor got her first taste of modeling a couple of years ago, Brinkley offered some sound advice, which also applies to Jack now that he’s joined her in the public eye.
“I tell all my kids: When you achieve any level of success in your life, no matter what it is … if they reach a place where they are written about in the papers, it will come with the haters,” Brinkley told People. “It is just a part of what is happening today.”
“You have to prepare them for that aspect of it,” she continued. “The way to do that is you have to have lots of interests in your life and lots of passions and involvement with causes and giving back.”
