Sarah Palin Happily Accepts Louis C.K.’s Apology For Mean Tweets At Her Expense
Sarah Palin doesn’t hold a grudge for the mean tweets Louis C.K. posted about her back in 2010, and was greatly appreciative of the comedian’s apology.

Louis C.K. apologized to Palin at the after-party following Saturday Night Live‘s 40th anniversary special that Palin had attended with her aspiring stand-up comic nephew Peyton McCann. “Something came over me emotionally and I said, ‘Well, I owe you an apology,” Louis C.K. told Howard Stern Wednesday, admitting he never apologizes for his jokes.
“Maybe it surprises people, but I was sincerely humbled and appreciative,” Palin told People. “I had to ask C.K. what it was he was apologizing for. …C.K. explained he’d said some things about me and was sorry, and went on with such a nice, humble apology. I laughed and said he didn’t need to apologize, for I hadn’t even heard it.”
“I wish I could have spoken with him longer,” Palin added. “And again, I sincerely appreciated his unexpected and character-revealing apology. I think he’s the only one in Hollywood who’s ever done that.”
The former governor and vice presidential candidate even invited the comic star on a fishing trip. “Come fishing with me next time you’re in Alaska!” Palin offered at the after-party, to which Louis C.K. replied, “In a heartbeat.”
