Big Ang, who is best known for starring on VH1’s Mob Wives, was hospitalized after experiencing intense pain in her throat that was caused by a large tumor.

Big Ang Hospitalized

Ang was admitted to a hospital in Staten Island earlier this week because of the persistent pain, according to TMZ. At the hospital, doctors discovered that Ang has a tumor in her throat the size of a lemon that had been causing the discomfort.

It’s expected that doctors will perform surgery shortly to remove the mass, which may or may not be cancerous.

Ang was set to commence shooting for a reality TV show (not Mob Wives) when she noticed the alarming pain. Before her hospitalization, Ang was in New York at an event, where she apparently had her neck covered up.
