Chikungunya is a virus that commonly causes fever and severe joint pain, according to the World Health Organization. “Being sick is no fun,” Lohan added on Twitter.

Still, the young actress put on a brave face, sharing another photo of herself with friends, writing, “In good faith with good people. I refuse to let a virus effect my peaceful vacation. Be safe and happy on the new year all.”
