PHOTO: Chris Colfer Carols On 'Glee'
Chris Colfer has been caroling away. The Glee star posted this photo of himself on the set of the hit FOX show, tweeting "Merry Christmas from the Dalton Academy Warblers!"
The actor, who has received Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for his portrayal of Kurt Hummel, has been enjoying time in Europe with Glee co-star Amber Riley. On Sunday, Colfer tweeted, "Germany is a winter wonderland! Want to throw a snow ball at @MsAmberPRiley but she may kill me. European Adventure begins!"
And with Glee set to return to TV in the new year, Colfer has big casting plans for his character's family, including Julie Andrews as Kurt's grandmother. "I'm pretty sure I've been obnoxious enough now that she knows that I want her. I think they just have to write it for her … And Anne Hathaway wants to play my lesbian aunt," Colfer said, according to CNN. "I'm all for that. Could you imagine a family with myself, Mike O'Malley [who plays Kurt's dad, Burt], Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway? That's one hell of a family."
Glee's new episodes will air beginning in February. —ISHITA SINGH
