Mariska Hargitay Adopts Second Child

Law and Order: SVU's Mariska Hargitay, 47, and theater actor Peter Hermann, 44, just brought home their second baby in six months.

The gushing couple adopted baby boy Andrew Nicolas Hargitay Hermann, this week, reports Us Weekly. He joins adopted sister Amaya Josephine, who became part of the family in April. "Their hearts were so opened by the [first] adoption," says a source, that "they couldn't imagine NOT taking the opportunity to bring another baby into the family."

"We never in a million years thought it would happen this quickly," said Hargitay, according to People. "But something inside of us knew that this was right, and we said, 'Yes, yes, yes!'" Hargitay and Hermann are now the proud parents to three kids, also having a 5-year-old biological son, August.
