UFC's Vitor Belfort Demands Rematch With Jon Jones After Defeat
For those unable to see UFC on FX 7, Bleacher Report has run down a list of some memorable moments from the evening. The event took place in San Paolo, Brazil and there was a lot of action for one night.
Among the exciting moments included Pedro Nobre faking a back of the head hit from Yuri Alcantara, 32. As a result, the fight was declared a no-contest. Nobre walked out of the octagon to the sounds of his own countrymen booing him. Nobre wasn't the only one hearing it from the fans. Pepey Castro was awarded a win by the judges' decision, even though, to many, his opponent Milton Vieira, 34, seemed the better fighter. After the win, Castro celebrated by sitting on the cage wall as he was jeered.
The biggest moment came after the main event. After defeating Michael Bisping, 33, Vitor Belfort, 35, took the microphone and declared that he wanted a rematch with Jon Jones (pictured), who had soundly defeated him in their previous encounter. He also went out of his way to insult Chael Sonnen, 35, the man currently scheduled to fight Jones. "I need that rematch. Take that clown away," Belfort said about Sonnen. "Go home. Let me fight a real champion, champion against champion."
