Lori Petty, best known for playing Kit in A League of Their Own, will be returning to Netflix prison series Orange is the New Black for the show’s third season.

Lori Petty Returning To 'Orange'

Petty will reprise her role as an inmate named Lotty on Orange is the New Black next season, according to Entertainment Weekly. She first appeared on Orange in the series’ season two premiere.

Petty’s character Lotty had a memorable scene with Taylor Schilling’s Piper Chapman aboard a plane filled with fellow convicts getting transferred from other prisons in the premiere. In the scene, Piper confesses to Lotty that she thinks she killed someone (Pensatucky) and that she’s likely about to face murder charges. Without much advice to offer, Lotty offers her some Vaseline she has tucked in her ear to help combat the dry atmosphere inside the airplane.

It’s unknown as of yet how Petty’s role will be expanding in Orange’s third season or how Lotty and Piper reconnect.

In addition to Petty, the third season of Orange will feature guest-starring performances by Mary Steenburgen, Blair Brown and Mike Birbiglia.

Season 3 or Orange is the New Black will premiere in full on Netflix sometime in 2015.
