Ryan Gosling was granted a temporary restraining order against alleged stalker Grace Marie Del Villar, a woman who claims she is his “twin flame.”

Ryan Gosling Stalker Claims She Is His “Twin Soul”

According to court documents filed by Gosling, Del Villar has “harassed and stalked and sought to have personal contact with” the actor and his family members, specifically his mother, Donna Gosling, and his sister, Mandi Gosling.

The court documents describe Del Villar as a woman who has been stalking Gosling and his family members, expressing her belief that Gosling is her “twin soul,” meaning that they are two halves of a whole.

Del Villar, who is identified as living in New York City in the court documents, allegedly traveled to Los Angeles and tried to get into the home of a member of the Gosling family. The court documents claim that Del Villar “believes she knows the Gosling family, and that they know her, and that they are actually searching for her and have been for the past three years.”

Del Villar has reportedly attempted to contact Gosling and his family members through his manager, Carolyn Govers, and director Derek Cianfrance, who directed Gosling in Blue Valentine and The Place Beyond the Pines. She has allegedly sent letters and emails and has tried calling or simply showing up in an effort to get in contact with Gosling. Gosling also reported receiving a magazine page featuring his girlfriend, Eva Mendes, and a church pamphlet with handwritten notes.

Gosling Granted Temporary Restraining Order

The court documents allege that Gosling “has real and reasonable fears for his and his families’ safety, and that of those around them.”

As a result, Gosling requested a restraining order that would require Del Villar to stay at least 100 yards away from him and his family, which includes his mother, sister, “romantic partner” Mendez and their daughter, Esmerelda Gosling.

A temporary restraining order is in effect, and a court hearing has been set for Dec. 10 to determine if the restraining order will continue.
