Cleveland Cavaliers superstar and Ohio native LeBron James has welcomed a newborn with wife Savannah. Reportedly born last week, this is the couple’s third child and their first daughter. Their sons are LeBron James, Jr. (who has already shown basketball talent) and Bryce Maximus James. The couple announced their daughter’s name on social media back in August while vacationing in Greece. Her name is Zhuri James. The edition to their family—as well as having a family in general—was part of the couple’s reasons to return to Cleveland.

"I always believed that I'd return to Cleveland and finish my career there. I just didn't know when,” James said in his essay announcing his return to the Cavaliers. “After the season, free agency wasn't even a thought. But I have two boys and my wife, Savannah, is pregnant with a girl. I started thinking about what it would be like to raise my family in my hometown. I looked at other teams, but I wasn't going to leave Miami for anywhere except Cleveland. The more time passed, the more it felt right. This is what makes me happy."

James and Savannah are both Cleveland natives as well as high school sweethearts. They though lived in Miami for a time during James’ tenure with the Heat, they remained active in Cleveland, starting the LeBron James Family Foundation, a charity based out of Akron, which was founded in 2005 and has raised money for a variety of causes.
