Kate Middleton and Prince William just landed in India for their weeklong tour on Sunday, and already have made a number of stops.

Kate Middleton & Prince William In India

On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Mumbai’s The Social, a business center and cafe frequented by the city’s young tech minds. During the visit, William sampled a dosa made by a “dosamatic machine.” The invention, created by 24-year-old innovator Eshwar Vikas, puts out dosas, crepes and pancakes.

“The Duke told me he and the Duchess love dosas and he said it was a wonderful machine,” Vikas told reporters. “He said they would love to have one in their palace and the Duchess said that because you can also use it to make pancakes the whole of London will want one.”

From The Social, the royal couple went to the Buddh International Circuit in Delhi, where William took a turn around the track in an F1-style electric car.

“Catherine and I are very impressed by the energy and ideas we have just seen. Being here today, it is clear that India is leading the way in so many areas of innovation and technology,” William said during a speech at the track Your ability to innovate is not just good news for India but it’s great news for the world. With one sixth of the world’s population, young innovators like you must play a major role.”

Then, Will and Kate paid their respects at India’s foremost war memorial, India Gate, and went on to visit Gandhi Smriti, tracing Gandhi’s last footsteps before his 1948 assassination.

As always, Kate’s fashion choices on the trip are drawing plenty of attention. During the daytime activities Monday, she wore a cream collared dress by Emilia Wickstead.
