On the latest episode of The Late Late Show, host James Corden invited Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers to play Carpool Karaoke.

The 15-minute segment held a lot of surprises including random wrestling on a stranger’s lawn, a duet of a song created while the band members were still in high school and, to tie it all together, the entire group rocking out to RHCP classics, shirtless.

When Corden inquired about the start of the relationship between Kiedis and Flea, the conversation resulted in a wrestling match between Corden and Kiedis.

Before the friendly match, Flea mentioned a song called “Heemi Lheemey.” Flea explained the origin of the song. “We were 15 years old sleeping on a rock out in the woods,” Flea said, before saying “smoking large quantities of marijuana, hiking through the Sierra Nevada mountain range.”

After Corden counted them in, the two performed the gibberish-filled song.

Near the end of the ride, Corden asked about Kiedis’s tendency to go naked. He admitted, “I feel a bit encumbered,” and proceeded to take off his shoes and shirt. Corden followed suit and soon Flea joined in.

While Smith and Klinghoffer opted out of going shirtless, everyone in the car enjoyed singing along to hits from the group’s catalogue.

When Corden asked the group about the most rock ‘n’ roll thing they’ve ever seen, Smith was quick to answer. “We played a festival in Holland many years ago and out in the crowd I saw two guys having a fight with their prosthetic legs,” he recalled. “One had a shoe on, the other one didn’t. It was very Dutch rock.”
