Freddie Prinze Jr., best known for early ‘00s movies Head Over Heals and Summer Catch, has to learn how to walk again after undergoing spinal surgery.

Freddie Prinze Jr.’s Spine Surgery

Prinze, 38, revealed earlier this month that he had to go under the knife, tweeting, “Spine surgery this morning but now ur homie is … Robo-Bro!” Though the actor is hesitant to reveal the full nature of the operation, he wrote on Twitter that he had “some disc issues.”

Prinze shared snaps of himself both before and after his surgery.

About a weeking following the surgery, Prinze updated his followers, “Learnin to walk again is like learning jiu-jitsu.”

Since his first tweet about relearning to walk, Prinze has shared that he’s tackled three miles and that to help himself conquer his pain he uses visualization.

As for reports that suggest Prinze is in severely poor health, the actor told his followers not to listen to them and that he’s on the mend – and then followed his post up with a picture of some impressive balancing skills.

Prinze, who is married to Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar with whom he has two children, currently voices Kana Jarrus on Star Wars Rebels.
