At least one person was killed and others were injured after Ukrainian forces conducted a “massive drone attack” on Moscow early on Tuesday, according to Russian officials. The Russian Ministry of Defense said that 337 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) had been “intercepted and destroyed” over the past night, with 91 UAVs having been intercepted over Moscow. The Kyiv Independent reported that this marked the largest number of drones launched against Russia in a single attack during the war. The Governor of Moscow Oblast Andrey Vorobyov said that one person was known to have died and three others were injured in the Leninsky urban district and Domodedovo. The strikes resulted from planned peace talks between Ukraine and the United States in Jeddah on Tuesday. (Credit: Zvezda News via Storyful)
